All American Football U Staff 

Deron Farina – Director of Football Operations

Deron is a graduate of McKeesport High School. Deron went on to play for the University of South Carolina where he was a standout Offensive lineman. Deron has over 15 years of coaching experience. 

Pete Gonzalez – Quarterback Academy Director

Pitt is a standout performer and graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Pete went on to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills and Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL. Pete will be heading up our Quarterback and Receiver training here at Football U. 

Roger Crider – Offensive Line & Defensive Line

Roger is a graduate of Seneca Valley High school. Roger earned All State and All American honors while at Seneca Valley as an Offensive Lineman. Roger went on to have an outstanding career at Westminster College where he won two National Championships. Roger has over 15 years of coaching experience at the High School level in North Carolina and here in the Pittsburgh area.   

Rich Johns – Offensive Line & Linebackers

Rich is a graduate of Purchase Line High School. Rich went on to play at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he was a standout Offensive lineman. Rich coached several years at the collegiate level and currently coaches at Franklin Regional High School. 

John Ruane – Quarterbacks & Offensive Skill

John is a graduate of Gateway High School. John went on to play Quarterback at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. John is currently Offensive Coordinator and Assistant head Coach at Gateway High School. 

Matt Morgan – Offensive Line & Defensive Line

Matt is a graduate of Plum High School. Matt went on to play at the University of Pittsburgh where he was a standout Offensive Lineman. Matt played in the NFL for the St Louis Rams. Matt currently is the Line Coach at Penn Hills High School. 

Johnny Harper- Secondary & Offensive Skill

Johnny is a graduate of McKeesport High School. Johnny went on to play at the University of West Virginia where he was a standout Defensive back. Johnny currently is the Defensive backs and Wide Receivers coach at McKeesport High School. 

Chad Roland- Defense

Chad is a graduate of West Mifflin High School. Chad went on to Duquesne University where he was a standout Wrestler and Football player. Chad was co defensive Coordinator on the 2005 state Championship team at Franklin Regional.

Mark Ponko – Defensive Backs

Mark is a graduate of Franklin Regional High School. Mark went on to play at the University of Pittsburgh where he played strong safety and earned numerous awards for his outstanding play and Academic achievements. 

Bob Westerlund – Linebackers & Secondary

Bob is a graduate of West Mifflin High School. Bob went on to have an outstanding career at Duquesne University as a Defensive back and Wide Receiver. Bob has over 13 years of High School coaching experience as a Defensive Coordinator. 

Paul Veto – Offensive Line & Skill

Paul is a graduate of Keystone Oaks High School where he earned Fab 22 Honors. Paul went on to play at Temple University. Paul has over 10 years experience as an Offensive Coordinator at the High school level.
